Wuppertal or "ROLBAVILLE" as it is known to flume lovers is the actual birthplace of flumemaking in Germany.It was many years ago a certain Herman Rolba began making flumes in his backyard in the form of small flumes ideal for the back garden etc.Soon the word of his efforts went far and wide and pools flocked to him for his magical flumes.Soon demand was so great he then established a purpose built workshop to make even bigger and better flumes!And so continued a legendary love affair with flumemaking that was to last until the age of mass production.One day the age of mass production came knocking on Mr Rolbas door,It was none other than the legendary giant HARTWIGSDEN! He came along with 2 other terrible giants known as KLARER & AQUARENA.They burned down Mr Rolbas workshop took away what was left and went on to make flumes for the masses! Know one knows what happened to Herman Rolba and his magical flumes as few remain! The rest is history!
